With a distinguished background in workers’ compensation defense and employment law counseling, Brent brings a seasoned perspective to the Brown & Carlson team. Prior to joining the firm in 2024 as a Shareholder, he spent 18 years at Peterson, Logren & Kilbury, where he served as both Shareholder and Managing Partner.
Licensed to practice in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa, Brent represents a diverse range of clients, including self-insured employers, home healthcare providers, manufacturers, and staffing agencies. Known for his solution-oriented mindset and desire to secure favorable outcomes, Brent approaches each case with a collaborative spirit, viewing those he works for and with as teammates.
Respected by peers and recognized across the legal community, Brent shifts gears in his downtime. Outside of work, he enjoys coaching youth sports and makes the most of Minnesota winters by skiing and snowboarding.
