Alyssa is committed to serving clients with an attentive, empathetic, and adaptable spirit. Prior to joining Brown & Carlson, Alyssa served clients in workers’ compensation defense as a law clerk at Peterson, Logren & Kilbury. Her experiences shaped her passion for assisting employers and insurers by prioritizing effective communication, collaboration, and a progress-focused approach. She aspires to ensure that her clients are the center of her practice in every way.
Alyssa has also served clients in other capacities as a consumer protection law clerk with the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office and the St. Thomas Immigration Law Practice Group Clinic. These opportunities enhanced her strategic decision making, legal research and legal advocacy skills.
In her spare time, Alyssa enjoys creative hobbies including ceramics, painting, and collaging. She values spending time with her family, friends and dog, Shelby.
Alyssa also spends her time volunteering with the International Institute of Minnesota.
