Gina M. Uhrbom

As a Senior Shareholder with an impressive 26-year tenure at Brown & Carlson, Gina’s leadership fosters the firm’s collaborative culture. Loyalty to her partners and colleagues and a team-focused approach guide her work with a simple philosophy: “Everyone has a job to do, and everyone has to do their part in order to be successful for our clients.”

Gina believes working together with her client’s input will obtain the best outcome. Putting in the hard work on every matter is important and Gina never fails to put in that effort.

With an extensive workers’ compensation defense, Gina represents a range of clients from small businesses to large, self-insureds. Her litigation prowess extends to the highest court in the state with victories before the Minnesota Supreme Court. Gina understands that some cases need to be litigated vigorously, and some need to be resolved using mediation. Recognition of that distinction helps achieve the best possible outcomes for her clients. Passionate about sharing her knowledge, she frequently speaks at industry events sponsored through the Twin Cities Claims Association, Minnesota CLE, and Workers’ Compensation Symposium, mentoring peers and the next generation of litigators. With nearly 3 decades of experience handling Worker’s Compensation matters, Gina is also a Mediator, willing to use her expertise in case evaluations and litigation success to assist others resolve their disputes through a private mediation.

Gina enjoys playing golf and watching baseball during Minnesota summers and shifts to watching hockey when the weather turns. She dedicates her energy toward impacting food insecurity in her community and beyond.
