Darren joined Brown & Carlson as an Associate Attorney in 2010 and is currently a Senior Shareholder. Darren takes great pride in working efficiently and effectively with all parties to reach amicable settlements. When settlement is not possible, he aggressively and zealously represents clients at Hearing.  Darren specializes in defending employers, insurers, self-insured employers, and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation claims and has handled numerous Hearings and appeared before the Minnesota Workers’ Compensation Court of Appeals.  Away from work, Darren enjoys spending summers at the lake with his family.  In the winter, you can find him inside a hockey arena watching and/or coaching his children.  He is an avid hockey fan and has worked as an on-ice referee/linesman at the youth, high school, and collegiate levels.
