Darren B. Glur

Since joining Brown & Carlson in 2010, Darren has built a broad workers’ compensation defense practice representing clients that range from small, fully insured employers to large, self-insured organizations.  Named a Shareholder in 2016 and Senior Shareholder in 2021, he is known for his highly responsive client service. Darren takes great pride in working efficiently and effectively with all parties to reach amicable settlements.  When settlement is not possible, he aggressively and zealously represents his clients at Hearing.

With extensive experience in front of the Office of Administrative Hearings and frequent work within the Union Construction Workers’ Compensation Program (UCWCP), Darren provides strategic representation throughout every stage of litigation. He has also appeared before the Minnesota Workers’ Compensation Court of Appeals.

Away from his practice, Darren frequently serves as a coach for various youth sports organizations.  He enjoys spending summers at the lake with his family and golfing.  In the winter, you can find him inside a hockey arena as a coach, fan, parent, or referee.  He has worked as an on-ice hockey official for over 25 years at various levels including youth, high school, and college.  He also serves as a mentor to new officials.
